Scholarhsip can be awarded based on a variety of criteria, which can include academic achievements, financial need, community involvement, a student's field of study, or other criteria established by scholarship donors. It provide financial assistane that does not have to be repaid.

A California program that provides eligible low-income public school students with a college savings account to help pay for future education and career training. Eligible students may receive up to $1,500 in CalKIDS funds.

If you have been selected for scholarship, please contact the scholarship donor for information on how to can receive your award.

If you are applying for SCC Foundation Scholarships, you only need to submit ONE general application. Once your application is fully completed, it will be reviewed for the scholarships for which you may be eligible. Some scholarships may require you to submit additional information. 

Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee that you will be selected for or awarded a scholarship. Scholarship awards are subject to the selection process and availability of funds.

SCC Scholarship Foundation Fund


Since 1976, the Solano Community College Scholarship Foundation has been a nonprofit corporation dedicated to awarding scholarships to Solano Community College students. Students are selected based on academic achievement and their demonstrated potential for excellence during their enrollment at Solano Community College.

Since 2013, the Solano Community College Educational Foundation (SCCEF) has provided $3.2 million in support to the College, including more than $1 million in restricted fund donations to departments and programs, $638,000 for student scholarships and stipends, $228,000 in unrestricted funds, and $63,000 to establish the Alumni Association.
