Mandatory Monthly Verification of Enrollment for all VA Education Benefits
Students are required to verify your enrollment at the end of each month to receive your monthly stipend. By verifying that you are still enrolled in the same courses or training every month, you help avoid overpayments caused by changes to your training schedule and safeguard your educational benefit entitlement by preventing payment for training you did not attend.

Chapter 30 - Montgomery GI Bill®, Chapter 33 - Post 9/11 GI Bill®, & Chapter 1606 - Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve

2. Call the VA once and opt into automated monthly text message or e-mail verification

Chapter 35—Dependents Educational Assistance beneficiaries can only verify enrollment through phone, automated e-mail, or AskVA.
