Welcome to the Solano Community College Phi Theta Kappa Beta Mu Gamma Chapter.
Phi Theta Kappa is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges worldwide, with more than 3 million members and nearly 1,300 chapters in nine nations.
Members have access to nearly $90 million in scholarships to continue their education at the two-year, four-year, and graduate levels—a benefit unmatched by other honor societies. This includes $37 million in transfer scholarships available exclusively for members. For students like you, that means an average transfer scholarship of $2,500 annually.
In addition, membership prepares you for a successful future with personal, professional, and leadership development opportunities, all aimed at helping you complete college and become more competitive in the job market.
Phi Theta Kappa is committed to the elimination of discrimination based on gender, race, class, economic status, ethnic background, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, and cultural and religious backgrounds.
You need to be currently enrolled at Solano Community College and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better in at least twelve units of transferable or degree-applicable course work completed at Solano Community College.
One-time-only membership fee is $75
This fee will be paid by the Office of the President through the Solano Community College Foundation.
The information on this form will be used by Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters to secure transfer scholarships for Society members. Information will only be released to senior institutions providing scholarship opportunities or other organizations providing benefits exclusively for PTK members.
