This program is designed to provide students with both the fundamental theory and the practical, hands-on experience needed for a career in film and television. Students will explore the creative and technical aspects of storytelling, production, and media studies, gaining skills in writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and production design. Emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking, creative expression, and industry-standard technical skills to prepare graduates for transfer or entry-level positions in the field.

  • Associate in Arts (AA) / Associate in Science (AS) – career-focused programs or transfer preparation.
  • Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) / Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T) – designed to streamline transfer to a California State University (CSU).
  • Certificates of Achievement – focus on specific career or technical skills, often shorter than degree programs.
  • Certificates of Accomplishment – shorter programs that provide targeted training and skill development.
