Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)
A Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) is a formal, written agreement that offers students guaranteed admissions to a University. A TAG requires students complete specific courses, earn a specific grade point average and any other special requirements, prior to transfer. TAG's are designed to make transitioning from a community college to a 4-year university seamless.
UC TAG
Seven UC campuses offer guaranteed admission to California community college students who meet eligibility requirements (UC Berkeley and UCLA do not offer a TAG.) Students submit TAG applications online during the TAG filing period (September 1-30). In addition to submitting a TAG application, students must also apply for admission within the UC application filing period (November 1-30). Please access the following website for campus specific UC TAG requirements:

Remember: Even if you do not sign a TAG, you can still apply to these schools during regular admission.
