The main campus of Solano Community College is centrally located on 192 acres in Fairfield
just off Interstate 80. The College's service area encompasses the communities of
Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Suisun, Vacaville, Vallejo, and Winters, as well as Travis
Air Force Base.
Solano's classes are held during two semesters each year (Spring and Fall), plus Summer
sessions. Flexible scheduling, designed for students' convenience, includes day, evening,
and Saturday classes, held on and off the campus, and via the Internet, television,
home study, and travel study. Short-term classes, open-entry/open-exit formats, and
special interest workshops and seminars add to this scheduling flexibility.
With the current student population of approximately 11,000 almost evenly divided
between day and evening, the Solano College campus is alive at all hours offering
academic study and occupational training to all area residents.

The Vacaville Center is located north of the City of Vacaville just off of Vaca Valley
Parkway. Parking at the Center is regulated. You must purchase either a semester-long
Solano College parking permit or a daily permit ($1 bill or coins) available from a
yellow permit dispenser located in the parking lots. Semester permits and daily permits
are valid for all Solano College campuses.
From Fairfield
Take I-80 East to I-505. Exit on I-505 and drive about ½ mile to the Vaca Valley Parkway
exit. Turn right off the exit and go one block to 2000 North Village Parkway. Turn
left on to North Village Parkway and you will see the entrance to the Center.
From Davis/Dixon
Take I-80 West to the Leisure Town Road exit. Go straight at the light onto Vaca Valley
Parkway. Continue straight to 2000 North Village Parkway and turn right. Turn left
into the Center parking lot.

The Vallejo Center is located at the top of Columbus Parkway, just past the Auto Mall
and before Blue Rock Springs Park and Golf Course. Parking at the Center is regulated.
You must purchase either a semester-long Solano College parking permit or a daily
permit ($1 bill or coins) available from the yellow permit dispensers located in the
parking lots. Semester permits and daily permits are valid for all Solano College
campuses.
From San Francisco: Take I-80 East; exit Columbus Parkway.
From Sacramento: Take I-80 West; exit Columbus Parkway.
From Napa: Take Hwy 37 East; exit Columbus Parkway.

Travis University Center

The Travis University Center is located in Building 249, C-111. The office is open
from 4pm to 8pm, Monday through Thursday. Parking is located in a lot adjacent to
the building. There is no charge for parking at the Travis University Center.
Directions
From the Main Gate: After entering TAFB, continue on Travis Avenue. Turn right on
First Street and left on Waldron. The parking lot driveway is about ¼ mile on your
left. Drive to the rear of the parking lot. The University Center is on your right.
Procedures for admission to Travis Air Force Base for non-military students
Due to increased security measures at TAFB, all non-military students must be registered
in a class meeting at Travis to receive a pass to enter the base. Please allow at
least 30 minutes to obtain your pass. Students will be able to obtain their base pass
at the Visitor Center located on the left before the main gate.
