At Solano: Lainey will come in and make an immediate impact. She is a strong passer and defensive player right out of high school. We look forward to the strong leadership she will bring to the team.

High School/Club: Three years on her Varsity HS team. Two years on Thunder- Vallejo, 18-1 team captain.

Interests/Plans: Plans to become an X-ray Technician.

#2 Cami Walker

Sports highlights

At Solano: Cami trained with the team last spring in our spring courses. She will make an impact as a middle blocker; she has great timing and moves well along the net. We look forward to her strong presence at the net.

High School/Club: Played two years JV, two years varsity. Played three years club VB in southern California.

Interests/Plans: She plans to graduate with her AA in Business Management, then transfer to SDSU and get a Master's in Business Management or Marketing. Cami planes to run a business and be an Advanced Sales Marketer.

At Solano: Julia returns for her 2nd season with the Falcons. She is a strong player, leader and positive student-athlete. Julia will help us in both the front and back row, she has worked hard to earn a spot in the starting lineup. Julia will be one of our Team Captains this season.

High School/Club: Played Two years on Varsity, team captain her senior year at Vanden HS. Julia played one year for Club Solano.

Interests/Plans: Julia plans on Majoring in Nursing, and transferring after this year to continue her education and nursing degree.

Sports highlights

At Solano: New player to our neighborhood, up from Southern California. Natalie has been a pleasant surprise. She is a strong athlete all the way around, a very positive person and team player. She will see a lot of playing time as an outside hitter and back row player. We look forward to the strong leadership she will bring to the team in the next two years.

High School/Club: Played 1 yr. Frosh, two years JV, and one year varsity. She played three years of club in Southern California.

Interests/Plans: Natalie wants to become an Athletic Trainer and after Solano transfer to University of Pacific to get a Master's Degree in Athletic Training.

Sports highlights

At Solano: Lauren is beginning her first season here at Solano. I have watched Lauren grow as a player for several years on her local HS team. She has a love for the game and a love for life. She has a strong arm swing, loves to hit the ball, Hard. She should help the team this season in the front row, either on the Right Side or Outside.

High School/Club: Played Frosh, JV and Varsity in High School. Was a captain her senior year. Played club ball at Club Solano for four years and her 5th year at Vallejo Thunder ( 18-1 ).

Interests/Plans:She plans to transfer to SDSU, major in English to become a High School English teacher. Loves the lake & wakeboarding.

At Solano: AJ comes to us from a local HS, I watched her play locally her senior year. She has great HOPS, loves the game of volleyball & a very positive person. She will make an impact in the front row with her hops, speed and attitude. We look forward to watching AJ grow as a player & to see what she can bring to the team.

High School/Club: Played three years on Varsity. Played club ball for one year.

Interests/Plans: She wants to be a Zoologist one day. Plans to transfer to Sonoma State for a Biology Major with an emphasis in Zoology.

Sports highlights

At Solano: Courtney worked out with the team last year as a Red Shirt. She was able to get her hands on the ball a lot as a setter. She will step into the setting role this season, she has a strong serve & we hope she continues to grow as a setter.

High School/Club: Played one year on JV, three years on Varsity. Played club ball for four years (three years at New Era, & one year at Club Solano).

Interests/Plans: Major in Sports Medicine, plans to transfer with and AA degree & eventually become a Certified Athletic Trainer.

#11 Emily Skinner

At Solano: Emily came in late this season, decided she missed the game of volleyball. She is a strong all around player; I watched her play for years in High School. Emily will help us in both the front row and back row this season. We are glad she decided to give VB another chance.

High School/Club: Played one year on JV ( Vacaville Christian ) , and Three years on Varsity ( Will C. Wood ). Competed four years in club, one year at Vacaville Xtreme, one year at Club Solano, and two years in Davis.

Interests/Plans: Plans to transfer to a UC in Northern California for Business or Psychology.

#13 Sarah Cabales

Sports highlights

At Solano: Sarah came in this summer from a local high school; it was a pleasant surprise because we were looking for an additional setter. She has good hands and court sense, has a strong work ethics daily in practice. We look forward to Sarah's growth as a setter in the next two seasons.

High School/Club: Played one year on JV, and three years on Varsity, Captain of the squad her senior year. She played three years at Club Solano and two years at Club Xtreme.

Interests/Plans: Plans to transfer to Sac State after two years at Solano and become a Pre-school teacher.

#15 Micaela Sylvester

At Solano: Micaela is a second year player. She focused her skills in the back row last year and was willing to make the change to train as a setter last spring. She is a very hard worker, has earned a spot in our starting rotation as a setter. Micaela will be one of our Team Captains this season.

High School/Club: Played two years on JV and two years on varsity, team captain her senior year. She played six years of club volleyball with Vacaville Xtreme and Davis.

Interests/Plans: Majoring in Mathematics at Solano and plans to transfer to a four year college next fall. Her goal is to become a teacher.

#18 Pilar Washington

At Solano: Pilar came in late during the summer, another pleasant surprise from outside of Solano County. She will add some height and depth to our roster. Her strength is her blocking, she loves to hit and is learning the system rather quickly. I expect some great things from Pilar over the next two seasons

High School/Club: One year on JV, two years on Varsity, captain her senior season. All League in her senior year of competition. Played volleyball for Club Starlings in Oakland.

Interests/Plans: After finishing two years at Solano she plans to continue her education at Xavier University in Louisiana.

At Solano: Chantel will Red Shirt this season, she will train and work out with the team to get her ready for the possibility of competition next season. She has a strong left hand, has been working hard with her consistency as a player.

High School/Club: Played one year on JV, and two years on varsity, she was a captain her senior year.

Interests/Plans: Plans to play two years at Solano and then transfer to a four year (hopefully West Virginia). She wants to major in Fire Science.
