Alison Aubert MS, AT,C Alison has been the Head Athletic Trainer at Solano College since 1993. Prior to that ,she worked at Santa Ana College, and Chapman University. Alison has been very involved in the California Athletic Trainers Association, and served as district director and secretary. Alison has been very active with the United States Olympic Committee, by working Track and Field at the Los Angeles 1984 Games, Atlanta 1996 Games, Olympic Trials in 2000 and 2004 as a Medical Director. She also interned at the San Diego Olympic Training Center in 2002. Alison was the Medical Director of the Steelheads, the Vacaville independent professional baseball team for its existence.
John Frisch AT,C John has been the Assistant Athletic Trainer since 2004. John joined the staff after leaving a law practice to pursue the field of athletic training. John has worked at St. Patrick's High School, Napa College, and Pacific Union College. John has been the Athletic Trainer for the Solano Chiefs, a Semi Pro Football club, and was a Medical Director at the 2004 Olympic Track and Field Trials.
Alexandrea Woody is our Head Student Athletic Trainer. Alex started at Solano College in the Fall of 2007 as a member of our Softball Team. She played Softball for Solano for two years while gaining athletic training experience. Alex is majoring in Kinesiology and planning on transferring Spring 2012. Alex has worked with Volleyball, Softball and Baseball while working with Solano Sports Medicine.
Jessica Havlin is in her second year at Solano, and is majoring in Kinesiology. She has been a student athletic trainer since Fall 2009. Her assignments have been with Men’s Basketball, football and baseball. Jessica plans to transfer in the Spring 2011.
Christina Chiles is a Kinesiology/Sociology major , and in her third year at Solano College. Christina has been a student athletic trainer since the Spring 2009. Her assignment has been an assistant student athletic trainer with Men’s Basketball, and now is in charge of the Womens Basketball Program. Her plan is to transfer after the Spring 2011 semester.
Aleah Basala is a Kinesiology major and a sophomore at Solano Community College. She has been a student athletic trainer for the past year and half. Aleah was assigned to swimming and diving, as well as water polo and football. Her goal is to be an athletic trainer/physical therapist with the SF Giants or 49ers.
Janet Cortes is a UC Davis grad who majored in Exercise Biology. She has worked as the Davis Senior High School Basketball athletic trainer. Currently Janet is the student athletic trainer for the Solano College Soccer team. She hopes to attend grad school next year, and enjoys playing soccer and tennis in her free time.
Analece Griffin started at Solano in the Fall 2008, as a Softball player, and competed for two years. She is majoring in kinesiology, and this is her first semester as a student athletic trainer. She will be transferring in the Fall 2011.
Josh Sharps is a Graduate Assistant for Solano Sports Medicine, while perusing Athletic Training at Sacramento State. Josh has worked with the Mens Basketball Program, Volleyball, Softball and Football. Josh has worked several special events such as CIF Wrestling and Junior Olympics. Josh hopes to graduate and work for the Raiders.
Bryan DiMesio Is a sophomore at Solano College and in his first semester at Solano Sports Medicine. He is currently majoring in Physical therapy/Athletic Training. He is presently working with the Soccer program, and Football team. He assisted the athletic trainer in summer 2010 with the Solano Chiefs, semi pro football team.
Jason Paner:
has been a student athletic trainer for the past five years, and is presently in his last year at Sacramento State. Jason has worked with Softball, Volleyball and football while at Solano College. Jason has also gained experience working for Cosumnes River College, and worked the Olympic Trials and Junior Olympics. |
