Education Plan AppointmentsAll students using VA Education Benefits are required to go through the VAC to schedule a VA Education Plan appointment not the General Counseling Department. The VRC will schedule an Education Plan appointment with a VA designated counselor to create a VA approved Education Plan.If students have questions regarding their VA Education Plan done by a VA Counselor they are to contact the VRC to address their questions. If the need requires a follow-up counseling appointment the VAC staff will schedule another appointment. Any education plan done by a non-VA Counselor will not be eligible to be used with VA Education Benefits. Changing degree objective is recommended to be done prior to enrolling in the next semester. This will prevent the student from enrolling in courses not eligible for VA payments and possibly preventing from delay in VA Education Benefits.
