Security Incident

On the afternoon of April 28, 2016 we had a data incident which compromised the W-2 data for those employed at SCC during calendar year 2015. The college immediately contacted Solano County Sheriff and the task force addressing internet crimes. They are actively investigating this incident. We are notifying all current and former employees whose information has been compromised. IT is working closely with Solano County Sheriff Computer Crime Task Force and we are taking measures to strengthen our internal protocols. We will provide regular updates here.

This is a serious issue and we are working diligently to minimize the impact on all of us. Please know that we are making efforts to contact former employees via U.S. mail at their last known address and that we will continue pursuing steps to address this incident.
