Refund Selection Process
Solano Community College has partnered with BankMobile (formerly HigherOne) to provide students with options for their financial aid refunds. With a Refund Selection Kit, you have 2 choices on how you wish to receive your financial aid disbursements:
- Direct Deposit/ACH transfer to your own existing bank account. This option does not require the use of a MySolano debit card or to open a bank account with BankMobile. Receive disbursed financial aid funds within 5-7 business days following your disbursement date.
- Open a checking account with Bank Mobile and receive a MySolano debit card through the mail within 5-7 business days. Requires you to set up a new BankMobile Vibe checking account. Receive disbursed financial aid funds within 3-5 business days following your disbursement date.
Current HigherOne/MySolano Card users: No further action is required. Your refund preference will remain the same and your current MySolano Card is still valid. To change your current refund preference, log in at www.bankmobilevibe.com using your MySolano Card username and password.
Important: Please make sure your current address is updated with the Admissions and Records office. Your Refund Selection Kit will be mailed to your current address on file with Solano Community College. Therefore, it is critical that you verify your mailing address as soon as possible.
Your Refund Selection Kit is processed for mailing only after you have applied with a FAFSA, submitted your student requirements, and registered for classes.
