Alison Aubert MS, AT,CAlison has been the Head Athletic Trainer at Solano College since 1993. Prior to that ,she worked at Santa Ana College, and Chapman University. Alison has been very involved in the California Athletic Trainers Association, and served as district director and secretary. Alison has been very active with the United States Olympic Committee, by working Track and Field at the Los Angeles 1984 Games, Atlanta 1996 Games, Olympic Trials in 2000 and 2004 as a Medical Director. She also interned at the San Diego Olympic Training Center in 2002. Alison was the Medical Director of the Steelheads, the Vacaville independent professional baseball team for its existence.
John Frisch AT,CJohn has been the Assistant Athletic Trainer since 2004. John joined the staff after leaving a law practice to pursue the field of athletic training. John has worked at St. Patrick's High School, Napa College, and Pacific Union College. John has been the Athletic Trainer for the Solano Chiefs, a Semi Pro Football club, and was a Medical Director at the 2004 Olympic Track and Field Trials.
Aaron HansenThis is his third year at Solano but his first semester as a student trainer. His major is psychology. He played baseball from 2010-2011. He hopes to transfer to Sac State in fall of 2013.
Natalie PerryHer major is Athletic Training and Kinesiology. She had work in a high school as a trainer for two years and this will be her second year as a student trainer at Solano. Natalie is the student trainer for the Men's Basketball program this semester. This is her second year playing on the Women's Volleyball program. She plans on transferring to Sac State in the fall of 2013.
Julius PassionThis is his first year at Solano Community College and is majoring in Sports Medicine. This will be his first semester as a student trainer. He is a license Certified Nursing Assistant. He has thoughts about becoming a respiratory technician. He is looking to transfer somewhere out of state in 2014.
Alissa RhodesShe is a second year student at Solano College and she is majoring in Athletic Training. This is her first semester as a student trainer. She will be helping out in Men's Basketball program this fall and with Men's Baseball program in the spring. She plans to transfer in the spring of 2013.
Gilbert WeatherbeeThis is his third year at Solano College and his second year as a student trainer. His major is Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. He is helping out with the Women's soccer program this fall and helped out with the Women's Softball program last spring. He plans to transfer somewhere in fall 2013.
John RowellThis will be his years at Solano College and his second year as a student trainer. He is majoring in Sports Medicine. He is the student trainer for the Women's Volleyball program this fall and will be the Men's Baseball program trainer as well. He plans to transfer to Sac State in the fall of 2013.
Bryan DiMesioThis is his third year at Solano College and this is his second year as a student trainer. His major is Physical Therapist and Athletic Training. He is the Women's Soccer trainer this fall. He had worked with the Women's Soccer last fall and worked with the Women's Softball as well. He assisted the athletic trainer in summer 2010 with the Solano Chiefs, semi pro football team. He plans to transfer in the fall of 2013.
Dana RiveraShe started at Solano in the fall of 2010, as a softball player, competing in her second year now. She is a Sports Medicine major and been an athletic trainer for the past year and a half. Dana has worked as a student trainer for Softball in the spring of 2012 and is currently assisting with the Girls Basketball Team. Her goal is to be a physical therapist and hopes to transfer to Sacramento State in the fall of 2014.
Courtney SanchezThis is her third year at Solano as a Kinesiology/Sports Med major. This is her third semester working with athletes as a student trainer. Alongside student training, this is her second season with the women's volleyball program. She plans on receiving her AS is Kinesiology from Solano and transferring to San Jose State University in the fall of 2013 to further her education in the field.
Monieka TorixI'm a Graduate Assistance Trainer and this is my Fourth year as trainer. This fall I will be the Women's Basketball trainer. In the spring I will be the Women's Softball trainer. I had played my two years as a softball player and ended my career in the spring of 2012. I'm current in a Nursing program graduate in Nov.
Jason Panerhas been a student athletic trainer for the past five years, and is presently in his last year at Sacramento State. Jason has worked with Softball, Volleyball and football while at Solano College. Jason has also gained experience working for Cosumnes River College, and worked the Olympic Trials and Junior Olympics. |
